'We get to perform the stage version of one of the best holiday movies of all time.'

Trista Moldovan will bring holiday cheer to Milwaukee when White Christmas comes to Uihlein Hall at the Marcus Center on November 26. The actress not only gets to spread the Christmas spirit around to members of the audience in the Irving Berlin classic; she also gets swept up in the season herself.

“How can you not be into the Christmas spirit while performing in this show?” Moldovan asks. “We get to perform the stage version of one of the best holiday movies of all time. The cast is already obsessing over our Secret Santas. I adore the final numbers, “White Christmas” and “I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm.” The swell of everyone's voices, the tapping, the costumes and the snow—it's like a cup of hot chocolate for your soul.”

White Christmas tells the story of two showbiz buddies who put on a holiday show in a picturesque Vermont inn and find their perfect mates in the bargain. The two couples include Moldovan as Betty Haynes, James Clow as Bob Wallace, Meredith Patterson as Judy Haynes and David Elder as Phil Davis.

“Nothing beats belting an Irving Berlin torch song with a big band,” Moldovan says of White Christmas’ score. “It's been so much fun delving into the sound of this period.” White Christmas will play Milwaukee through December 1.
