The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts is located in the center of the downtown theater district at 929 N. Water Street and offers the best of cultural and community programming in the state. We are home to the finest performing artists in Wisconsin, such as the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Milwaukee Ballet Company, Florentine Opera Company, First Stage Milwaukee, Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, Martin Luther King Day Celebration, United Performing Arts Fund, Ethnic and Cultural Festivals, and “At the Center” community concerts.

There is an elevator located in the southeast corner of the Marcus Center Parking Structure that can be taken to the 3rd floor where a skywalk connects the parking structure to the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. Each entrance to the building, 929 N. Water Street (used to enter Uihlein Hall), 123 E. State Street (used to enter Vogel Hall and the corporate offices), 127 E. State Street (used to enter security guard station) and the Riverwalk entrance (used to enter the Todd Wehr Theater) are all wheelchair accessible.

Uihlein Hall is equipped with an infrared listening system that ensures clarity of sound from any seat in the house. Patrons will be asked to leave a picture ID and telephone numbers when they pick up their headsets at the coat check in the Uihlein Hall’s north lobby. The ID will be returned when the headset is returned at the end of the performance. For listening devices in other theaters within our facility, please contact the Marcus Center at (414) 273-7121.
